It’s been quite a busy week around the Blogged offices. The launch went great and we’ve gotten some great feedback. We want to thank everyone for their support and good wishes.
We are working furiously to improve the site and creating tools to make finding blogs easier. We’ve already added a few new things based on what you had to say:
- You can now subscribe to a blog’s RSS feed (Thanks Michael!) when viewing a blog’s profile page.
- Added an optional email field in the “submit a blog” page.
- Added a link to request a review of a blog
- Improved the related blogs algorithm
Our editorial team is also hard at work reviewing and categorizing blogs. This is a big job since there are millions of blogs out there. OK, maybe not millions.

Hi guys,
Thanks for reviewing my blog and adding it to the directory, was pretty pleased when I discovered I’d been given an 8.3 by “editor review”!
Have added the link that invites visitors to review the blog onto the front page, and it was showing the same rating as blogged until today, but I’ve just noticed its now showing “5.5 Average” while my blog’s details on blogged.com is still showing the 8.3 rating. Are you doing some maintenance? Or has some code gone awry … or did someone just really not like the blog and the blogged.com page hasn’t been updated yet!!!
Keep up the good work, the site is looking good
