I’m a bit put off by a couple of things.
For one - I can’t find my own site here - other than actually entering the URL in the search.
Aside from the fact that when I am logged in, I should also be able to see what info on my site is being provided right away - shouldn’t I find it the category it was submitted under?
And then the ratings. They are partially ridiculous.
I ran into two of the most influential blogs in the photography scene - and saw them rated with 7 something? Are you editors living on Mars or Venus? At the same time a nice blog, presenting a dog diary with rather average images is rated 9 + something.
From seven reviews I made I had only one match to the editor. And I am usually pretty cautious in giving high scores.
And a last remark - it makes little sense that user ratings only work in 0.5 pt steps, whereas the editor has the full range to his/her disposal.
    It feels a bit condescending.
You guys may want to look into all of that - I’m pretty sure that I am not alone with that opinion.
Other than that you might be on to something, which can work out if you take care.

    Cheers, Klaus

    Your verification process is ridiculous.

You are forcing users to add a backlink to your site for verification. This is the type of behavior that Google is starting to crack down on. I have no interest in risking a penalty for the sake of having access to my Blogged.com profile.

Let me know when you allow verification through a meta tag or better yet an html upload.

We understand your concern. We are not forcing users to add or keep the link to our site.

Users can be verified without adding our verification link if they wish. By emailing us, we can verify an author manually.

Bloggers are not required to keep the verification icon on their blogs once they have verified it. Therefore, we are not forcing anyone to backlink to Blogged. This process does not violate the spirit of Google’s policies and these links can be freely removed at any time without affecting any service we provide.

We simply wanted to create an easy, automated method of verifying that you own your blog without any manual intervention on our parts.

Could you please tell me why the Senior blogs - under which my blog falls - not have a category title? A friend recently searched in your index for my blog in vain, until I told them to type ‘Senior’ in the search bar.
