Blogged at Web 2.0

April 29, 2008 Announcements

Gladys and I attended the Web 2.0 Expo held in San Francisco and it
was a terrific experience. The main goal of our trip was to see what
cool things people were doing and we were definitely impressed.

I think the highlight of our trip was meeting with Matt Mullenweg,
founder of WordPress. Both Gladys and I were impressed by what a
nice guy he was. He seemed both intelligent and humble and it’s
pretty amazing that he accomplished what he did at the age of 24. We
also attended some of the parties and it was great to see everyone in
a relaxed atmosphere. Pete Cashmore and Kristen Nicole were both
really approachable and friendly — we saw them at the Mashable party.

Overall, the trip was very productive and we met with many high
profile bloggers and are working on ways to improve the functionality
and visibility of Blogged.com.

That’s a great experience about meeting the founder of wordpress and thanks for letting us know that he manage to accomplish his goal on such a young age. This serves as an inspiration to me and everyone.

Wordpress is one of the most popular blogging platform being used by almost every blogger on the internet. What really amazes me is that it is owned by a 24 year old guy.
