If your blog is in our directory make sure you claim it and verify yourself as the author. By claiming your blog, you’ll be able to easily request changes to its URL, description, title, keywords, screen shot and category. You’ll also be able to link the blog to your Blogged profile.
All you’ll have to do is put a small verification widget on your blog’s homepage that looks like this:
You can get the verification widget one of two ways:
You can go to the Profile tab and click on Click to Add Your Blog. If your blog is in our directory, you’ll be given the verification code. If your blog is not in our directory, you’ll be given the option to add it to Blogged (Blogs are not added right away. Approval normally takes a couple of days).
Or, you can find your blog’s profile page in our directory and click on the Author link as seen below:
Make sure the Blogged icon appears on your blog and then go back to the verification page and click Verify. If the verification still fails, please leave the icon on your blog and contact us at support@blogged.com.

I’d just appreciate some feedback either way. Maybe you don’t like the blog. That’s cool. I’d just like to know if the blog is going to be included or not in your directory.

how many day for blogged.com to approve the new submitted blog?
I am experiencing the same problems. I submitted my blog for approval on 2/27, however, I have not heard anything back either. How do we know if our blog has been approved if its been longer than 3 days? Also, where do we find the widget to put in our blog. Hope someone can help me.
This service seems broken – blogged MUST to verify blog within three days, no more. I’ve tried to add my blog for many times and got no answer. So, I have to assume that this blogged.com service don’t works properly. Yeah?

twice before this attempt to place a comment my comment suddenly disappeared into the cyber abyss. I was excited to find this site because it appeared much easier to create a blog. But now I read so many frustrated bloggers who wait weeks even a couple months to have their blogs listed in the directory, added to the site and to receive approval. I read about the directory, claiming your blog, verifying you are author…BUT that can only happen IF you are in the infamous directory. Owners are quoted as stating to be added to directory usually takes “a couple days”. Also it is stated “blog directory requires no registration or signup process”. I truly feel the frustration my fellow bloggers feel altho I myself have only been here but a few hours and what I read startles me and I wonder whether no response on behalf of site owners is but a fluke iin their normally tightly runned ship. So my poor misdirected bloggers follow every step in directions and then see whether they really will get you into their directory in a “couple days”. I feel for all of you really I do. I don’t know if I could hang on as long as some of you have without giving up long ago and leaving my high hopes in the lurch.

Discovering this page has proven to be very discouraging. I just joined blogged.com four days ago; and like everyone else here, I submitted my WordPress blog URL to it as well. After four days, I began to wonder if I had done something technically wrong, and if perhaps that was the reason why my blog isn’t showing up here yet. Then I came across this page. I would gladly add the blogged.com button to the Endtime Prophecy Net Blog’s sidebar, but what for if this service is broken, or at least being seriously neglected. A simple explanation from the webmasters of blogged.com would go a long way towards alleviating some of the frustration that is being felt by so many users here. Poor communication with the end users of any service will ultimately result in that service’s demise.
I’ve had the same problem as you lot. The site itself is awesome, easy navigation and high standards. Its not a cheesy site like MyBlogLog by yahoo. Its a great idea to have directory + social network. The only problem is you can’t add your friggin’ blog! I see other users with blogs so this must have happened all of a sudden. No on over responds to you, their service sucks. The site appears to be abandoned.
