OK, so it has been a while since we “teased” you with the news of big changes. Well, today is the day we deliver.We are proud to announce the new Blogged.com site.  Our new site has been completely revamped to highlight bloggers and their unique perspectives.  We’ve created a place for people to get news and information that you may not see in mainstream news sources.

A news portal for “the rest of us” that amplifies voices across the blogosphere by hand-picking the most compelling stories and organizing them by relevant categories such as tech, business, entertainment, sports, politics, etc. We are actively monitoring the blogosphere and bringing you the most fun and interesting posts.We hope you like this new direction and find that it useful. We also created a Blogged widget in which you can display your favorite blogs on your site. Check it out:

was a terrific experience. The main goal of our trip was to see what
cool things people were doing and we were definitely impressed.

I think the highlight of our trip was meeting with Matt Mullenweg,
founder of WordPress. Both Gladys and I were impressed by what a
nice guy he was. He seemed both intelligent and humble and it’s
pretty amazing that he accomplished what he did at the age of 24. We
also attended some of the parties and it was great to see everyone in
a relaxed atmosphere. Pete Cashmore and Kristen Nicole were both
really approachable and friendly — we saw them at the Mashable party.

Overall, the trip was very productive and we met with many high
profile bloggers and are working on ways to improve the functionality
and visibility of Blogged.com.
